Telephone booths can be found in all the towns and villages. There is a large bank of booths in Lagos, outside the Portugal Telecom building, at the entrance to Praca Gil Eannes where many of the banks are. In the villages the telephone box is commonly in the main square. Usually you will need to use a phone card which can be bought from the supermarkets and most shops selling newspapers.
