When hiring a vehicle whether it be a car, van, or motor home you are usually responsible for the first amount of any damage to the vehicle even if you are not at fault. This amount is known as the rental agreement excess or collision damage waiver (CDW) excess. The amount is usually dependent upon the vehicle and the hire company. The value will be detailed on your vehicle rental voucher / agreement that you receive from us.  Many car rental companies offer their own excess waiver when you collect the vehicle. In some cases, the charges can be up to £25 per day.

Working closely with our partners at Questor Insurance, we can offer both daily policies for single trips and annual policies for multiple trips to cover vehicle hire excess insurance which not only insures the rental agreement excess, but also covers the tyres, windscreen and vehicle keys.
