The courses listed below, are only a short drive away and are regarded as some of the most desirable in the Algarve.

Palmares Golf Resort

The Lagos Course,  begins with a parkland character. This course incorporates the only two lakes found on the entire site at the short par-3 third hole and the long par-4 sixth hole. Holes seven and eight immerse golfers into the expansive dune lands on the southwestern portion of the site. The round concludes with a climb to the clubhouse and back into a more parkland setting.

The third nine at Palmares (Praia) presents the golf experience every great designer dreams of having the privilege to create: a seaside landscape with dunes exposed to the elements.

Boavista

With two distinctive sections the course offers a variety of holes commencing with the welcoming first hole, bordered by beautiful sub-tropical landscaping leading to harmoniously designed properties. The signature hole on the outward nine is set against a glorious backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean with exhilarating panoramic views extending from Praia da Luz round to with the hills at Monchique creating a spectacular backdrop.                        

Espiche

This gently undulating 18-hole par 72 course blends into the Algarve landscape. Its lakes, streams and indigenous planting add to the enrichment and biodiversity of the area. The aspects are exceptional, surrounded by open countryside and vineyards with views to the Monchique Mountains in the distance. The close proximity to Luz and Lagos offers a very special location.

Golf Santo Antonio

The Golf Club atmosphere at Floresta Parque is probably the best on the Algarve. You will always find a warm welcome from any member at the Spike bar. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and where golfers may swap stories whilst enjoying one of the finest views in the golfing Algarve and enjoy a relaxing drink after a “hard” days golf. The Course is a good challenge to any golfer and an enjoyable day is guaranteed.

Golf Santo Antonio has a driving range, golf academy, practice area, putting greens and golf shop. With 18 holes, par 71, the course extends for 5712m.

An undulating course with some sloping fairways, particularly on the front nine. Small well bunkered greens, many near lakes on the back nine, requiring a good degree of accuracy. 

Penina Golf Resort

Positioned in the western Algarve, Penina Hotel & Golf Resort is widely renowned as the true home of Portuguese golf. This is the only resort in Portugal to offer three golf courses one of which, The Sir Henry Cotton Championship Course, is the first 18-hole course to have been constructed in the Algarve - and is legendary for some of the finest and most challenging golf in the world.
